Sustainable Travel & Transport In Sport

Travel & Transport is one of the main challenges that members, and the wider sustainable sport community, raise with us.

How can fans be encouraged and enabled to travel sustainably?

How can sports organisations manage the transport of large numbers of people to, and around, venues?

How can you motivate your workforce to travel sustainably and how can sustainable transport principles be incorporated into high performance sport?

We will be aiming to outline the best options for promoting sustainable travel in and for sports organisations, and identify the best ways to support the sector in enabling sustainable staff, athlete and spectator travel. 

We’re delighted to be able to host a presentation from our friends at Mobilityways, who will showcase an example of solutions which are available, and draw in contributions from across the BASIS community.
