As climate change begins to make extreme weather events more frequent across the world, those involved in planning for safety at sports grounds need to consider new risks. The Sports Grounds Safety Authority has recently published a guidance note to help sports grounds manage the risk of extreme heat.
Ann Ramage and Wendy Harnan-Kajzer will give a brief overview of the guidance and the SGSA’s approach.
