Taking a stewardship approach to single-use plastics in sports.

Sports and events don’t know their plastic footprint. But that’s set to change, with the development of a methodology for plastic stewardship and foot-printing for events, led by The Ocean Race.

Adopted and adapted from the ground-breaking work of plastic stewardship and foot-printing experts, it’s simplified and tailored for events, the methodology is able to be easily and practically applied.

Meegan Jones, Sustainability Programme Advisor for The Ocean Race will walk us through the new methodology and show how we can take a step up in our plastic stewardship.
