Balance of priorities and pragmatism: foundation of major event sustainability.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear FIFA’s Head of Sustainability for the Women’s World Cup 2023, Sheila Nguyen, speak about what she achieved during the World Cup – a massive feat, spanning 2 countries, 9 stadiums, and over 160 games!

From waste management to tree planting, human rights to highlighting how sport can create an equitable and net-positive, regenerative and more sustainable future, the FIFA World Cup was an inspiring and educational event for all.  Sheila was the driving force behind it all.

This webinar is a collaboration between Sports Environment Alliance and the British Association for Sustainable Sport, and is part of a regular series of member-only combined events we host to support our respective members on their environmental journey

Timing: 18:00 in Australia (Melbourne) and 09:00 in the UK.
