The BASIS Awards are the UK’s premier celebration of sustainability in sport – shining a spotlight on the people, projects and partnerships leading the charge for climate action, innovation, and sustainability across the sector.
From grassroots to governing bodies, and breakthrough tech to behaviour change campaigns, our awards honour those making a real difference. It’s not just about recognition: it’s about sharing what works, inspiring others, and helping the whole sports community move faster, together.

We want to hear your story. Whether you’re a club, venue, governing body, brand, or passionate individual – if you’re helping sport become part of the solution, we want to celebrate you.
No project is too big or too small to be accepted for submission and multiple submissions are welcomed.
We want to hear about why your initiative was conceived, what made it important to your organisation, and how it aligns with the BASIS 12 Principles.

All full BASIS members will receive a free ticket* to the Awards Ceremony, and additional tickets are available for purchase. Anyone can attend, but members will benefit from preferential pricing on additional tickets. Use the form below to claim your tickets.

Associate BASIS members must join through their Umbrella organisation. You can check to see if your umbrella is a member by using our Members page and then enquire directly with them about membership. If you’re not sure or need help, feel free to contact us.
