How to tell your sustainability stories
Shoot the Company are running a forum on how to tell sustainability stories to effectively communicate what BASIS and its members are doing to make a positive impact.
Shoot the Company is an award winning film production agency and are the official content partners of BASIS. This forum will look at different ways of creating content that will tell positive stories around initiatives highlighting the four pillars of sustainability – human, social, economic and environmental.
There is often a reluctance to talk about the positive steps being made within the sport industry around sustainability. The focus can often fall on what isn’t being done rather than what is. This can lead to nerves and fear of criticism. Working together as an industry to hero best practise and talk about what will come next is important to show fans, sponsors and stakeholders that positive steps are being taken. Producing content about sustainability which will engage, entertain and educate will enable the partners of BASIS to work together to communicate meaningful change.
The forum will cover:
- Finding the right tone of voice for your organisation
- Keeping messaging simple and engaging
- How to convey facts and figures
- Self-filming
- Creating campaigns
- Ongoing storytelling
- How to involve fans, players and coaching staff
