BASIS and Veganuary Announce Partnership to promote sustainable food choices within Sports.

BASIS is delighted to announce a dynamic agreement aimed at promoting sustainable and plant-based choices within the realm of sports and nutrition.

To kick things off –  BASIS will host Veganuary on our Wednesday Webinar in January 2024 on sports nutrition and how athletes can thrive on a plant-based diet.

Dr Toni Vernelli, Head of Policy and Communications at Veganuary stated “we’re very excited to be working with BASIS to help make sustainable food choices a core element of sport in Britain and we’re thrilled that they are championing plant-based foods as one of the key solutions to tackling the climate crisis.”

Dominic Jordan, General Manager of BASIS said “we look forward to working with Veganuary to spread awareness and add value to our members’ knowledge in this area in line with two of our 12 key Principles- Food and Drink and Healthy Options”.
