Meet the 3rd 2023 BASIS Sustainable Sports Awards Judge

Jonathan Overend

Jonathan, a hugely experienced sports commentator and presenter, is now one of the leading voices on Sky Sports’ tennis coverage, broadcasting recently from the 2023 US Open.  Previously he was the BBC Tennis Correspondent for 10 years and still contributes to football, boxing and Olympic coverage on Radio 5 Live.  He has also worked for ITV Sport, ATP Media and Times Radio.  In 2020, as a passion project, he devised and presented the acclaimed podcast “Emergency on Planet Sport” which has run for two series.
