Calling for nominations to the BASIS Management Board, this is your chance to shape the direction of sustainable sport.
If you would like to have a say in how BASIS can help deliver a sustainable sport sector, and support our members in reducing their environmental impact, please put yourself forward for nomination to the BASIS Management Board. The Board is made up of representatives from the BASIS Membership and is responsible for supporting the Executive Team in delivering the strategy and governance of the Association. Any representative of a member organisation can stand for election to the Board, or can nominate a colleague.
With three Board spaces to fill at the AGM on 19th October 2021, we are looking for members with enthusiasm and diverse opinions to help us deliver the BASIS mission to empower sport in the UK to be world leading in sustainability.
Board members commit to at least four meetings each year (currently we meet every two months), with meetings typically lasting two-, but no more than three-hours. All additional work is voluntary and contingent on your availability. Nominations are open now and will close on 10th September.
