Sarah Peasey, Head of Europe Sustainable Investing, joined Neuberger Berman in 2021. Sarah leads the firm’s sustainable investing and client engagement efforts across Europe, working with investment teams and analysts to advance sustainable investing capabilities. Sarah also co-chairs the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change Bondholder Stewardship Group.
Sarah holds a first class degree in business management from the University of East Anglia and brings sustainable finance expertise, with a background in risk management, investments, engagement, product design and process integration.
In her roles within the asset management industry she has worked closely on the integration of sustainability factors into investment design-making processes, designing investment product to incorporate sustainability themes, and engaging directly with companies to improve sustainable practises. More recently, Sarah has worked on designing climate risk and temperature alignment modelling, whilst also working closely with the UK debt management office and the Bank of England in the recent issuance of the inaugural “Green Gilt”.
